Delete Your Data

This page explains how to delete data associated with the SparkReset app, published by ECONTEUR LLC.

Delete everything from your device

  1. Open Settings inside SparkReset.
  2. Choose the option to erase local progress.
  3. Alternatively, uninstall SparkReset. Uninstalling removes all of its locally stored data, subject to your device backup settings.

Request deletion by email

To ask us to delete anything held about you, email developer@econteur.com with the subject “Delete my SparkReset data”. We confirm within 30 days. Because SparkReset uses no account, please include any detail that helps us locate a record — for example the approximate purchase date and the store you purchased through.

What is deleted, and what is kept

Deleted: every reset you completed, your spark total, streak, saved resets, custom resets, badge progress, Night Reset history, reminder settings and all other preferences. All of this is stored only on your device, so removing it deletes it permanently and immediately.

Kept: if you purchased SparkReset Premium, Apple, Google and our subscription provider RevenueCat retain a purchase record (an anonymous app user identifier, product identifier, receipt or purchase token, and subscription status). These records are kept as required to provide and restore purchases, prevent fraud, support customers, and meet legal, tax and accounting obligations. We can ask RevenueCat to delete the anonymous customer record on request; Apple and Google retain their own transaction records under their own policies. SparkReset never receives or stores your payment-card details.

Retention period: on-device data is deleted immediately when you erase it or uninstall. Purchase records are retained for as long as required by the stores and by applicable law, and no longer.
